The seven pillars of a battle-ready campaign
A campaign is only as strong as its weakest system. These are the seven pillars we score every Republican campaign against, from the path to victory down to compliance.
Ask ten consultants what makes a campaign ready and you will get ten lists. Ours comes from one question: when something breaks in the final month, where does it break? The answer is almost always a system that was never built. So we score readiness across seven pillars, and we fix the weakest one first.
The seven pillars
- Path to Victory. A written vote goal, built from turnout history and the district math, not a number in someone's head.
- Data and Voter File. The file loaded, current, and actually driving who you target and contact.
- Digital Infrastructure. Site, CRM, forms, and analytics, connected so a supporter's action lands somewhere you can act on it.
- Voter Contact. Phones, SMS, doors, and events, tracked back to the data so every touch counts toward the goal.
- Fundraising and Donor Pipeline. Donation flows and automations that turn a first gift into recurring support.
- Operations and Workflow. The routing, tagging, and reminders that keep a lean team from dropping the ball.
- Compliance. Disclaimers, A2P messaging registration, and FEC or state filing handled before they become a problem.
Why pillars, not one number
A single readiness score hides the thing you most need to know: where the gap is. A campaign can be strong on contact and weak on fundraising, and the fix is nothing alike. Scoring each pillar on its own turns "we feel behind" into "fundraising is a 35, start there."
That is exactly what the Campaign Readiness Diagnostic does. Eight questions, a score per pillar, and a concrete next step for the two or three that need it most.
The weakest pillar sets the ceiling
You do not win by being excellent at one thing. You win by having no fatal gap. Find the lowest pillar, close it, and re-check. Do that a few times before the race heats up and you walk into the final stretch with a machine that holds.
When you are ready to build or fix any of these, that is what we do.
